BPSO (Bipolar Significant Other) provides information and support to the spouses, families and friends of those who suffer from Bipolar Disorder. USA site with a mound of information, recommended reading, etc. These resources have helped many people inform themselves, cope with behaviours that sometimes arise from the illness, better understand their own reactions, and determine how they may best support their loved ones in their efforts to understand and live with this illness.
CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) is a charity set up in response to the high suicide rate among young men, currently the biggest killer of men under the age of 35. Although CALM is targeted at young men aged between 15-35, we offer help, information and advice via a helpline and website to anyone calling within the UK, regardless of age, gender or geographic location. The helpline is currently operates between 5pm and midnight Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday every week of the year. Hearing Voices Network If you hear voices HVN can help - we are committed to helping people who hear voices. Our reputation is growing as the limitations of a solely medical approach to voices become better known. Psychiatry refers to hearing voices as 'auditory hallucinations' but our research shows that there are many explanations for hearing voices.
